SUN RICE is a Filipino + S.E. Asian forward restaurant and bar on Portland's N. Williams corridor.

We started in 2021 as a farmers market stand and pop-up, then ran a residency at Deadshot Cocktail Bar, followed by a kiosk inside the Moxy Hotel downtown. In 2025, we opened our permanent space on N. Williams.

By day, we serve silogs and comfort plates. At night, it shifts into a bar and grill with skewers, cocktails, and music. SUN RICE is built as a neighborhood spot, but also as a hub for pop-ups, collaborations, and community-driven events.

We add a 20% service fee to each check to support consistent, livable wages for our team. Tipping is optional. This model helps ensure the people behind SUN RICE are taken care of.
